Classically, probably? That phrasing is a little informal, I admit XD But it has entered common use in (American, at least) English, enough so that I didn't even think twice about using it. "Obsessed about" or "obsessed over" basically just mean to fixate on (something) and keep thinking about (it), possibly to an unhealthy degree.
